Theory Test

Before you can sit the Practical Driving Test, you must first pass the Theory Test.

Once passed, you will be issued with a Pass Certificate. This Theory Pass Certificate is important in that it contains a unique Certificate Number that is required in order to book the Practical Driving Test.

The Theory Test consists of 2 parts:

Multiple Choice Questions Test

Hazard Perception Test

The Multiple Choice questions contains questions relating to driving matters and the pass mark is 43 out of a possible 50 questions

The Hazard Perception test involves observing a series of video clips (14 in total) which each has hazards in which for you to identify. And once identified, simply give a quick click of the mouse. The pass mark for this part of the test is 44 out of a possible 75

You MUST pass BOTH PARTS of the Theory Test in order to be deemed successful.
